If you’re looking for adventure, look no further than Grand Teton National Park. But be aware: you may encounter a lightning strike that’s too close for comfort, vantage points that make you ache with their beauty, similarities and unlikely companions along the trail, wild things, snakes, lakes and rivers, cowboy cliches in Jackson, pioneer spirit and above all, a sense of calm and wonder at the surreal and oft-overlooked majesty of the Grand Tetons. ♣
